Toronto Raptors co-captain Antonio
Davis is recovering after surgery on his right knee and ankle this
week. He averaged 13.9 points and 8.2 rebounds this season, but he
missed 29 games because of injury. Davis thinks his health
problems stem from an ankle injury when he was in college at UTEP
in the 1980s. He has three years left on a five-year, $64 million
contract. Toronto finished 24-58 this season, ranking 14th in the
15-team Eastern Conference. Coach Lenny Wilkens won't be back next
season. |
